Jonathan Strychasz, PT, CWCE, CertMDT
Vice President, Rebound Physical Therapy
Jon has been practicing in the greater Cleveland area for over fifteen years. He specializes in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy and is a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator through Roy Matheson and Associates, specializing in Functional Capacity Exams. Jon is Bureau of Worker's Compensation certified, as well as McKenzie Certified. He has extensive training and practical skills in the application of custom upper extremity splints. Most recently, Jon has become certified in Dry Needle Therapy.
Jon is a native of Buffalo, New York, who graduated from Daemen College in 1998 with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy. He moved to Cleveland immediately after graduation and began working with Novacare in their contract rehabilitation division. He then moved on to Precision Orthopaedic Specialties in 1999 and was employed as a staff physical therapist and physical therapy manager. In 2006, he helped found Rebound Physical Therapy.
In his free time Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and three beautiful children.
Chet Blackburn, MPT, CSCS
Chet has been practicing in the Greater Cleveland area for the last sixteen years and opened our office in Mansfield in 2014, He specializes in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy and is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is McKenzie trained and also well-versed in all aspects of physical therapy protocols, including Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE's).
Chet is an Ohio native who graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1992 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing/Management and in 1998 with an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy before moving to Cleveland later that year. He began working for Precision Orthopaedic Specialties in 2000 and helped found Rebound Physical Therapy in 2006. He successfully completed the University of Findlay’s Master of Physical Therapy transitional program in May of 2008 and became a licensed physical therapist in August of 2008.
Chet is an avid Harley Davidson rider and
his bike can be seen in the parking lot of the Rebound Physical
Therapy clinic in all but the most inclement weather. He
successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa in
August of 2007.
Megan Houser, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT
Megan, is a native of Lakewood, Ohio and graduate of Magnificat High School. She joined the Rebound team in May, 2014, upon returning to the Cleveland area with her husband and two sons after nine years in Seattle. They currently reside in Fairview Park.
Prior to returning to Ohio, Megan had established herself as a strong Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist, a Physical Therapy Student Clinical Instructor and the Director and Part-Owner of Therapeutic Associates Inc. Seattle Physical Therapy. She has been recognized as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the North American Institute of Manual Physical Therapy.
Megan graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology in 1999. Her love of healthy living and an active lifestyle drove her to earn a Master’s of Physical Therapy and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in 2002. Most recently, Megan has been educated through the Herman Wallace Inc. Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute on the examination and treatment of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, bringing this important specialty to the Rebound catalogue of services.
Michael A. Guido, PT, OCS
Mike Guido is the newest addition to Rebound, joining our staff in March, 2015.
The Cleveland native graduated from St. Ignatius High School and earned his BA in Psychology from Baldwin Wallace before receiving his certificate in Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University.
He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Certified Orthopedic Specialist and a graduate of the residency program in manual therapy.
A former Clinical Education Coordinator for the Cleveland Indians, he also has worked with the Lutheran Medical Center/Cleveland Spine and Arthritis Center, Healthworks/MED Center Occupational Medicine, Concentra Medical Centers, NovaCare Rehabilitation and was a center manager in Avon for Rehabilitation Consultants.
He started his professional career as a juvenile officer for the First District of the Cleveland Police Department, trying to keep juvenile offenders from getting lost in the justice system.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys biking, hiking, bocce and ping pong.
